Brynae Love-Young Director

Brynae Love-Young is an accomplished dance educator, leadership consultant, and program director with over 16 years of experience serving students, educators, and fine arts programs across Texas.


A graduate of Sam Houston State University, Brynae earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance before completing her Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for developing strong cultures of excellence, leadership, accountability, and service while creating meaningful opportunities for student growth both inside and outside the studio.


Brynae has served as a drill team director, educator, mentor, clinician, adjudicator, and leadership development specialist, impacting thousands of students and directors throughout the state. She is a former Texas Dance Educators Association (TDEA) Board Member and was honored as the 2023–2024 Teacher of the Year at Langham Creek High School for her commitment to student leadership, educational excellence, and community impact.


In addition to her work in public education, Brynae is the Founder and CEO of The Love & Lead Collective, where she provides leadership development, professional learning, and culture-building experiences for students, educators, and organizations across Texas.


Brynae is passionate about developing young leaders, building strong traditions, and creating environments where students can thrive and reach their full potential.


As Director of the Klein Oak Strutters, Brynae is honored to continue the proud tradition and legacy of the program while fostering a culture rooted in excellence, leadership, service, and community. She looks forward to partnering with students, families, alumni, and the Klein Oak community as the Strutters enter their next chapter of success.

Fayla Curry

Mrs. Curry has been teaching and choreographing for numerous studios and schools since 1988. She attended Sam Houston State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and later received her Master of Education with emphasis in Secondary Dance from SHSU. Throughout her career, Mrs. Curry has presented numerous workshops on choreograph, curriculum and pedagogy as well as serving committees regarding dance certification, program evaluation and curriculum development throughout the state of Texas. Mrs. Curry is currently teaching Dance in another two-track program at KOHS where she created the KO Dance Company, Oak Break Krew, Partners in Dance program (pairing special need dancers with mentors) and developed the second in the state of Texas International Baccalaureate Dance program. She continues to proudly assist Mrs. Polansky with the KO Strutters Dance Team teaching summer technique classes and managing community service requirements,  as well as other “behind the scenes” needs
